HEY, IāM AUTHORā¦
Hi, Iām Erin Bell, a mother, grandmother, and mental health advocate based in North Carolina. As a Certified CBT Practitioner and former Behavior Modification Therapist, Iāve spent much of my life supporting individuals, especially troubled teens, through their struggles. I truly believe in the healing power of journaling, nature, and creative expression as tools to promote emotional well-being.
In 2019, I tragically lost my son to suicide due to schizophrenia. This loss has deeply shaped my mission to raise awareness about mental health, particularly the challenges that come with conditions like schizophrenia. Through my own journey, Iāve found healing in creative outlets such as journaling, watercolor painting, and spending time in natureāwhether itās hiking, camping, or kayaking. Iām also a proud grandmother of twoāone boy and one girlāand I love nurturing the next generationās mental and emotional health.
Iām the founder of I Wish Publishing, where I create journals and resources designed to help others express themselves, find balance, and heal. My mission is to help people, especially children, slow down, reflect, and embrace the power of being present in todayās fast-paced world.
